About Alison Thomas Newth
I am a teacher, mother and artist living in North Eastern BC, Canada. I am inspired by the beautiful landscape that surrounds me. I especially love the rolling hills and fields, the brilliant blue skies and sunsets, and the forests in springtime. Horses and animals also attract my attention.
I don't currently have any originals for sale as most of them are up in my house and will likely remain in my personal collections for many years.
I am a self-taught artist and have been working at my art for 20+ years. I usually paint in acrylic, although sometimes will try watercolor as well. I admire the vibrancy of oils, but haven't had to chance to try them myself. One day:)
I am starting my own art website to show some of my favourite pieces...and I will be blogging about the journey as I go.
